9-10 November 2011, Warsaw, Poland

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

Our Ministry of Economy, acting as Polish Presidency, would like to inform you about an upcoming conference entitled: Boosting trust in the digital single market: the role of e-signature, which will be held in Warsaw on November 9th-10th 2011. On 18th February 2011, the European Commission launched public consultation, with purpose of providing input for policymakers on how to create a pan European framework for electronic identification, authentication and signatures, which would result in boosting the trust in the digital single market.
Until April 15th the European Commission received more than 400 contributions from a wide range of actors, including Member States, national organisations, regional and local authorities, business and professional federations, individual companies, NGOs, and many European citizens.

Our event is a joint effort with European Commission to facilitate discussion among experts from various Member States on the results of public consultation and revision of 99/93/EC Directive.
